About Stress Disorders
New meridian therapy is also effective for depression and panic disorders that occur in the workplace. An example of treatment is described below.
Treatment Case
Male in his 40s
Disease name: Depression, panic disorder
-
Engaged in computer work for many years. He has panic symptoms when he sleeps. For 2 weeks, he is very busy at work and works from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. After completing the work, he becomes dizzy, has loss of appetite, and general malaise, and sleeping becomes worse. He rests, but his dizziness symptoms do not improve, so he visits our clinic.
- Initial visit
- Sleep disturbance, dizziness, and palpitations. He has difficulty sleeping and wakes up every 30 minutes to an hour at night.
- Diagnosis
- Neck disorder due to postural stress from long hours of PC work, resulting in depression and panic disorder.
- Progress of New Meridian Therapy
-
- First Tx
- he was able to fall asleep within 30 minutes and did not wake up during the night. He woke up at 5:00 in the morning.
- 3 Tx
- his appetite was improved and his sleep was better. Sleep improved, and he was able to sleep normally for 1 day/4 days.
- 5 Tx
- dizziness for the last 2 days. 3-4 awakenings during the night.
- 7 Tx
- the dizziness disappeared. Two awakenings during the night (at 2 and 4 a.m.); goes to bed at 11 p.m. or midnight. He is walking.
- 11 Tx
- he sleeps and wakes up well, but wakes up lightly about once an hour.
- 12 Tx
- he feels better yesterday and does 2 hours of work. Immediately afterwards, his physical condition deteriorates. At night, he cannot sleep and still cannot tolerate 2 hours of computer work.
- 13 Tx
- he feels better because he slept last night. I recommend that he rotate his neck at work, and instruct him to do isometric exercises for his neck.
- 19 Tx
- he no longer has sleepless days.
- 25 Tx
- Zung's depression rating improved from 43 to 25 (normal range). Sheehan's anxiety rating improved dramatically from 41 to 4. Work is going well.
- 28 Tx
- he feels good, sleeps well. He is walking. Plans to start working full time in March.
- 38 Tx
- he started to work seriously. 1 time/2 weeks, sleep for shorter periods. Walking for 1 hour in the morning. He is in good condition. Maintains a depression score of 22 and a Sheehan anxiety score of 0.
- 40 Tx
- sleep is good. Wakes up early, around 6 am. He works from 9 am to 7 pm.
Treatment ended with good progress. He has been working well since then.
